December vibes (#351)

Happy December!! It’s unreal that we’ll say goodbye to 2023 and welcome a new year in a few short weeks.

Over the next month, I’ll be:

• Getting as much done at work that’s needed to close out the year

• Participating in a Christmas bundle - more on that next week!

• Figuring out how best to get some content planning done - including restarting Side Hustle Convos. Content other than the newsletter can get overwhelming with all the other things I’m juggling, so I’m trying to think of a better(?), simpler(?) way to do it.

• Winding down #jesspicks for the holiday break - note: the last issue of the year will be sent on 12/16.

• Helping someone figure out their side hustle idea and next steps in a day

• Doing family/friend stuff includes holiday lights, movies, musicals, and fun times.

• Spending some time reflecting and planning for next year with this journal.

All in all, for me, December will be a mix of getting a few things wrapped up, doing some fun/recharge-y type stuff, and slowing down a bit before 2024.

• 📺⭐️. Watching: Wish. I was able to see this new Disney movie over the weekend with my family. First of all the star is ADORABLE and I must have it. 🥹 I’m getting a plushie or something. Its cuteness cannot be overstated. But it was a great movie with a wonderful soundtrack and an important message. If you get the chance to see it, please do. Also, a minor spoiler is that there are nods to other Disney movies, which are fun to see and celebrate as part of its 100th anniversary.
  

• 📱.Tool: Voxer. This is a tool I use almost every day. It turns your phone into a walkie-talkie app - and you can send voice/text messages. It’s a great way to give my folks mini pep talks or work with them for a day. It’s also the best way for me to communicate with my assistant. Learned a lot about using Voxer for coaching in this training.
