"Don't let other people decide who you are." ~Bob Coff
It is the 19th of January and I am so excited about the first half of 2019! Some things coming:
I'm doing a Side Hustle Panel at my day job later this month.
I'm co-facilitating a workshop for girls 14-18 interested in entrepreneurship in February.
I'm mentoring (!!) as part of the Chicago Innovation Women's Mentoring Co-Op. I'm excited to meet my protege and help her with her goals for 6 months.
I will be on Broadway (sort of!). I applied to this fantabulously exciting/scary program called Fear Experiment and I got in!! ππΎ This means I'll be learning some Broadway moves over 2.5 months and will then perform in all of my awkwardness/glory in front of 700 people π³ at Park West in May. ππ½
As I look ahead, I feel really pumped about this year! And I think this list says a lot about who I am and what I care about: side hustles, helping women and girls, and doing something that gets me out of my comfort zone but also has the potential to be soo much fun. What are you saying YES to this year? How does it fit with the ways you want to show up in the world? What do you have lined up for 2019 that you are excited about?

General Assembly (yep, also my day job ππΎ) is putting on a week of free and paid events starting on 1/28 designed to take your career to the next level. There is also a Side Hustle panel where I'll be speaking! ππΎ I decided to partner with them on this camp because I participated last year and it was a great week of events.
