"Here's a little reminder to be kind to yourself today." π€ ~Morgan Harper Nichols
This week we wrapped up the Gather the People Instagram class which has been really great experience for us as a team, but also myself personally. It's getting my thoughts percolating on a few project ideas, and on this process of "creating out loud" and inviting my community (hellooo ππΎ) along the journey of creation. I still haven't chosen a project idea yet, but taking the time to answer the prompts has really helped me get clearer on what I need for the project and how I want to feel.
I'm looking forward to deep diving into this more with the Gather the People self-paced course, If you're interested in that, you can grab it for $30 off through 8/31 by clicking through the link in our Instagram bio.
In other news, this week has felt a bit heavy. I feel like I always have a lot going on, but this week particularly I just had feelings of overwhelm and distraction, I suppose. On Wednesday, I had three different instances where I saw messages to take a break. To which, I was like "Universe are you trying to tell me something?" And she promptly answered by having my Internet go out. π
So as much overwhelm as I felt, I had no other choice than to take a break. I think there's a longer break needed and I'm not sure how to carve out that time just yet, but it'll be something I'm thinking about.
Along the taking a break lines, I tried a new product this week called Recess. It's a CBD-infused sparkling water which was pretty great. I got the sampler pack and tried the Black Cherry flavor first which helped me get a good night's sleep. So I'm officially a fan. ππΎ
How have you been able to pause and take a break recently?

How to Start a Blog that Changes Your Life β www.nateliason.com
My favorite part of this post is what to write about (because I struggle with this constantly):
Things you know
Things you are excited about
Things you believe
Nat also talks about how to get started, get readers for your blog, and ways to monetize.
I found this in Alex Hugh Sam's newsletter.
9 Tips to Help You Save Time on Email β paulminors.com
We spend so much time in our email don't we? My fave tips in this list are (3) to get tasks out of your email - I've been using my bullet journal to jot down emails that I need to respond to versus snoozing them. And (2) to create some templated responses to common emails - I keep hearing about TextExpander so that's something on my to-do list.
