"If you want to fly, you must give up what holds you down." ~Anonymous
Helllooooo March! February really did fly by and now we are so much closer to spring so I'm excited about that.
Also, I have a new man in my life and he's about 8 pounds of adorable-ness. I'm an auntie so I'm super excited about this new role. <3 It's amazing how quickly the things you've been stressing about just falls away when you are holding a baby in your arms. Because as my mom mentioned, knowing that we have a new baby in the family, reminds us that "he needs us" so we need to make sure we are keeping ourselves in shape and healthy so we can be there for him. #truestory
In other news, I started reading this book on "building your dream network" which totally is an affiliate link, because the book is captivating. I feel like I'm pretty good at building relationships and connecting people so I definitely want to explore that more. And possibly even get better at being a connector.
I'm also trying to find the holy grail of to-do list apps. Or at least once I can stick to. I've tried so many things in the past and I tend to always end up either writing things on a sticky note or in the Notes app on my iPhone. Thanks to the suggestion of a friend (hi Vanessa!), I'm giving Todoist a try. I'll let you know how that goes.
What are you using to manage your tasks or to-dos? Hit reply and let me know!
On to the picks for the week!
P.S. I saw and heard this Women's March anthem for the first time today. So powerful. So many goosebumps. xoxo

Truly profound article about becoming who you're meant to be: "You’ll suck at most things in the beginning. It takes time, persistence, and patience to create anything worthwhile. Keep on trying. Keep doing what you love, even if no one buys it, sponsors it or shares it. It matters that you show up. The magic will eventually happen!"
