"It only takes one person to change your life: YOU" ~Ruth Casey
This week I did two panels! I still can't believe it. They were both so different and so awesome.
One was all about bootstrapping in your business and I focused on the power of technology and finding low-cost ways to do things especially when you're starting. The second was on diversity in tech and I really highlighted the need for all of us to stand up and be visible and share our stories. It's funny too because sometimes when I get asked to be on these panels, I often wonder if I have anything of value to add to the conversation (that darn impostor syndrome devil on my shoulder) and then it's over and it's like, "hey I said some really awesome, insightful things!" 💪🏾
The other cool thing about panels is that you get to meet amazing people and hear their perspectives and insights. Also, if you have been thinking about a speaking career, panels are a great low-risk way to start.
In other news, I was quoted in a Brit & Co article (!!!) and it's featured in the picks below. 😎 I also did a photoshoot with the fabulous Collette Rogers last weekend so I'm excited to use the new pictures for techbizgurl.com and on social media. Click here for a sneak peek!

P.S. Tyler Hilton covered Rihanna's "Stay" and I'm in love.
