#jesspicks - Issue #11
This week I finished reading Dorothy Must Die - OMG so good. So I'm planning to start the next book this weekend. It does seem to be a series situation and book 4 does not come out until March so I will probably have no resolution to this story for a little while. This is also why I'm soooo happy that I didn't read the Harry Potter series until all the books were out. I mean, the waiting.... Yes, I know - I have no patience :)
I went back to the ENT for my 5 week-ish checkup and the doc said that my nose and throat look sooo much better (yay!). The super strength nasal spray is doing me wonders so his prescription is to keep it up and don't call him in the morning, unless I get a sinus infection. Progress!
In other news, I was able to add another speaking engagement to my list. Which helped me meet my goal of 10 for the year! We chatted about being black women in tech, especially black women entrepreneurs. If you want to check out some of the Facebook live feed, you can find that here.
All in all, good stuff. What's going on in your world? What are you most looking forward to in October? Hit reply and let me know.
On to the picks for the week!
