“Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are.” 💗 ~Rumi
This week, we celebrated Thanksgiving in the States, when gratitude is often top of mind.
Also, for some, it’s a wonderful time to reflect and start winding down for the year.
This quote by Stephanie Pollock caught my attention this week:
You don’t always have to be in growth mode.
Maintenance mode works too.
As I think about December (and possibly January), maintenance mode seems like a great place to be. A few things I want to work on:
A reader survey to get a sense of how I can best help you in 2023
Getting ready to participate in a Christmas party bundle
Doing a few more Side Hustle in a Day coaching sessions. The first one went super well, and this has the potential to be a great offer.
Finishing this training to see how I can do more with affiliate marketing in the future.
Taking some time off to hang with friends and family
How about you? Are you in growth mode or maintenance mode? Or something else?
Either answer is the correct one for you.
On to the picks!
P.S. Thank you for being a part of my world. 💖

📧. Email Marketing Membership (EMM). Liz Wilcox’s membership has awesome newsletter templates to help you get clicks, and replies, build relationships, and make sales. I’ve used several ideas for my introductory note. Black Friday deal: Purchase a year of EMM ($108) and get access to all of her other trainings as a bonus.

I bought an annual membership on Black Friday two years ago, and it turned out to be a great investment. A bonus for me was supporting a fellow black woman entrepreneur. Need to be more productive? Play First. — kandicecole.com
“Play is a powerful form of self care that is easy to overlook, especially when we are full on adulting.”
In this post, Kandice Cole talks about how self-care can just become one more thing to do. She encourages you to think about other forms of self-care, including play.
I love LEGOs, doing jigsaw puzzles, and coloring, which reminds me of being a kid. What are some forms of play you can include in your self-care routine?
