I wrote this poem a few years ago about the purpose of life. And it made me pause and smile when I ran across it this week. So I thought it might resonate with you as well.
Life #simmerings:
It’s about dreaming.
It’s about being more than you thought you could be.
It’s about knowing that you matter.
It’s about starting.
It’s about choosing to do your best.
It’s about loving—yourself and others.
It’s about practice.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about doing a little extra.
It’s about celebrating.
It’s about having that cupcake. (you know you want to)
It’s about dancing in your chair.
It’s about focusing.
It’s about trying and failing.
It’s about smiling when you go to bed at night.
It’s about inspiring—yourself and others.
It’s about leaving behind something bigger than yourself.
It’s about living. So you can die with no regrets.
