"Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned." ~Peter Marshall
This week has been super busy but productive in Tech Biz Gurl. First, I was featured in Voyage Chicago. 💪🏾 Shout out to my gurl, L'Oreal, for recommending me. I chat about Tech Biz Gurl, my journey with the business so far and some things I'm particularly excited about.
Also speaking of things I'm excited about... drum roll please 🥁.... I launched the new site!! I have to say that I really like the design a lot. If you are curious, I'm using a BluChic Theme which I love called Victoria. I also was able to move it over to SSL so Google won't be angry with me anymore. That was an experience... 🙄
I still have lots more I want to do like get a Press page up (I started working on it this week), create a blog post image template, and update my blog posts, and write some more. 📝
That will all come soon - I'll just take it a baby step at a time. I was holding off so long on getting this launched because I wanted everything to be perfect. But sometimes just getting it out there is a huge accomplishment in and of itself. Sometimes we just need to ship things, whether they are perfect or not. Because we can always improve and our sites, our businesses, just like our lives are a work in progress.
Check out the new site and would love to hear what you think!
On to the picks for the week!
P.S. I'm still loving Sunsama - so if you are looking for a simple task/calendar management solution, it might be worth checking out.
