"Stand up straight and realize who you are." ~Maya Angelou
This week's big reflection question for the Annual Clarity Retreat I'm doing this month is: What Do I Want? 🤔 And in different areas too: relationships, purpose, health and growth. Yeahhh, in other words, an extremely difficult question to answer.
At a high level, I know that I want meaningful relationships with friends and family. To make an impact and do work that matters. To really focus on self-care and getting into some sort of movement routine. To continue evolving, building and growing.
But what does all that really look like? That's where it gets a bit fuzzy. So I'll be digging into that some more over the next few days while I get ready for the next step of the process.
Along those lines, how about you? What do YOU want? And how can I help you? As I'm dreaming and scheming for 2020, I'd love to hear your feedback on this newsletter as well as get a sense of what you might be struggling with right now. And you'll get a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.

🖲 Google Mini - If you have Spotify Premium, you can still get a free one! I love mine and it has become such a big part of my life already. It's great to set up actions and series of actions using the Routines feature. Excited to see what else I can do with it. Hit me up if you have any fun tips.
📺 Baby Yoda - thanks to one of my awesome #supporters 💋 I now have a Disney+ subscription!! I just started watching the Mandalorian and only a few episodes in, but I'm in loveeee. 😍 Also related: I'm on the fourth Star Wars movie in order of release. Yep #latetotheparty as always.

For ‘To All the Boys’ author Jenny Han, self care means protecting her creativity — and baking — www.washingtonpost.com
I haven't read her book or watched the movie just yet, but love her approach to decision-making: "I ask myself three questions: Is it fun, is it easy, and is it worth it? If the request is none of the above, then it’s an easy no. Three out of three is a no-brainer, but it’s an extremely rare situation. If it’s two out of three, I usually say yes but not always." ✅

Why I started using a paper task manager instead of an app. — medium.com
This gives me a little life because I've been making daily task lists on paper for the past week. And I have yet to find an app that I can stick with. Although right now I'm trying out new app Slash (invite code: UImLv-cvF) and it's pretty slick. Maybe I need a paper and app combo approach for my own task management system. 🤔
