"Upon waking, let your first thought be, thank you." ππΎ~Abraham Hicks
I lost my great uncle Lester this week and it's been hard. I think losing two uncles in six months is taking its toll on me. But ultimately I am so happy that I was able to see him and tell him I loved him before the end. And he passed on surrounded by so many people who love him. Now he is at peace and reunited with others who've gone before him. And that gives me peace. Which when you think about it, there really is nothing better. To know that in the end, you lived, you loved and you mattered. π
My mom and I talked about the best way to honor his memory and others we've lost recently. And that is to make every day count.
To send that email you've been wanting to send forever. To go to that show or to have way too sugary milkshakes with your bestie on Galentine's Day. To tell friends and family you love them. To go after that dream you've been secretly wanting to do. It's time. To live, to love, to matter.
It's time to make every day count. π
On to the picks!
P.S. Thank you for allowing me to do work that I love. You help make my days count. π

π Libby - this app has been so great in helping me borrow books from the library. And I can even send most of them to my Kindle. ππΎ Currently reading Atomic Habits. And if you are an audiobook fan, you can borrow those too. π
π°Dosh - I bought a coffee from Dunkin Donuts yesterday and immediately got a notification of getting 11 cents cash back through this app. May not seem like much, but every little bit helps. All you have to do is download the app and link your credit/debit card. If you end up using your card at any one of their locations, cha ching!
