"You are what you believe yourself to be." ~Paulo Coelho
I feel like this week has gone really fast. How about you? It's been really busy on my end and I have a couple of fun things to share:
I was interviewed by Becky Carroll along with two WISTEM grads on #TheBroadCast. Such a great interview and it's always awesome to share the work we are doing.
I have a mentor!! Normally that probably would not be news buttttt I was selected to participate in the Chicago Innovation Women Mentoring Co-Op's 2018 cohort. I was partnered up with the fabulous Megan McCann who is an amazing role model in the industry and I'm super excited to work with her on world domination plans over the next six months.
I am speaking on a panel on side hustling next week at General Assembly's Career Camp (thanks Jasmine for the reco). If you're in Chicago, come on over. It's FREE!
Good things come in threes? I'll take it. In other threes-related news, Meryl Streep is joining Big Little Lies Season 2 and there is a Harry Potter Cruise. Also I'm obsessed with White Cheddar Cheez-its. Like I didn't even know this was a thing. #latetothepartyalways
What are you up to? Any good news to share? Hit reply and let me know.
On to the picks for the week!

I'm in love with this post: "I know the hustle is important to a lot of y’all. I know you’re motivated and you want to make change happen, and I know you want to build amazing businesses and startups and products, but it is not worth that sacrifice. It’s not worth your health and your life. It’s not worth giving everything to."
