"You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want." ~S.E. Hinton
This month has been a bit of everything. I've been balancing a ton: work / side hustle / events / caregiver stuff and sooo many other things. And putting a lot of pressure on myself that I needed to release. And frankly we all could use this reminder.
In #5til19 news, I did the zoo at night with my bestie and had a blast. Sampled some great beer (I really am a fan of apple cider) and we even saw Santa! It was a wonderful night and it was nice to just chill and see beautiful lights and hang with my gurl. Next week I'm excited to try bouldering (and not fall)... 🤞🏽, finish out the week and then take some much needed time off after that. I just requested the entire week of Christmas off from my day job because I am in desperate need of some Jess time.
I've been in my feelings a lot lately, getting angry over things I thought I had made peace with and realized this week that I'm so tired of being sad and angry. So I want to take some time to leave that negativity in 2018 and focus 2019 on gratitude. I'm also looking forward to spending some time thinking about my side hustle and how to take it up a notch next year. If you have ideas, hit reply and let me know.
I am so grateful for you and your support this year. Have an amazing holidays and see you in 2019!

Why I’m Creating a Self-Care To-Do List This Holiday Season — girlsnightinclub.com
I love this idea for so many reasons. If we have a readily available list, when we need self-care we can just go there for inspiration. And #2, everyone's self care can be quite different. For me, it might be reading a book. For others, it could be going to the doctor.
