The past couple of weeks, I’ve been feeling the need to do some digital cleanup. This week especially, I’ve cleared the 45+ screenshot images I had saved to my Mac Desktop and started reviewing old notes and files. This tool also helped me reclaim some disk space.I came across a manifesto I wrote a few years ago, and as I was reading it, so much of it still resonated with me. So I’m sharing it here because it's a good reminder of who we are, what we are trying to build, and things to keep in mind along the way. Dream Builders ManifestoTaking action is never a waste of time. Even if it doesn’t go as planned, you’ll learn something you can use in the future.Don’t focus on becoming the next [INSERT NAME HERE]. Instead, focus on becoming the best you. Sometimes you are not the right fit for something, and that’s OK. Instead of trying to change yourself to fit the situation, change the situation to fit YOU.Sometimes you need to say “no” to create space and energy for those things you want to say “yes” to.All you can do is your best, and sometimes even then, you fall short or make a mistake. We are human, after all. When that happens, you can take a deep breath, have a shot of tequila, and know that tomorrow is another day. Some days, blanket forts are required. And necessary. You have options, even if you think you don’t. And because you have options, you have hope.Dream on, dream builder. On to the picks!P.S. I completed my 30-mile walk goal for July!! And was able to raise $435 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
