“Grace will meet you in the wildness.” 💘~Morgan Harper Nichols
time does not equal energy (#361)
I often talk a lot with readers and clients about the mindset of side hustling and, similar to the “entrepreneur your way” intro last week, figure out what works for us.
One idea, in particular, that I’m often repeating to myself is:
Just because you have the time to do something doesn’t mean you have the energy.
I often have free time, but need more focus or mental capacity to work on stuff during that time.
Can you relate?
If so, start paying attention to when you are most productive. Most of us are early birds or night owls. That’s when our energy is at its highest.
(Mostly, for me, this is in the mornings. But tends to shift as needed with caregiving and work responsibilities.)
If you can, save 15 minutes of that high-energy time for work that will help the future of your business, like setting up systems, planning, and setting up passive income products – tasks that can continue to work for you long after they are done.
I compiled a list of other helpful mindset tips I’ve learned over the years:

In this section, I plan to provide things/tips/resources that are helping me with caregiving, biz, self-care, and juggling in general. In the hopes that it’ll inspire you as well.
This week’s ease tip is courtesy of
:“Helpful thing for me and the resident Bloke has been putting a sticky whiteboard on the back of the laundry door. It’s in the centre of the house, next to the kitchen, so we walk past it a billion times a day. On it is the shopping list and upcoming events and when the dogs need the next Cartrophen and when the ducklings hatched and what my side hustle's doing next, and what subscription services we’re paying for at the moment ...
Both of us are, I suspect, a bit ADHD, and if the information’s not there in front of us, we tend to forget it. (Also, I’m deep in menopause and have the memory of a disintegration doily. I can barely finish a sentence at the moment, and it’s driving me insane). So this saves frustration of the ‘I TOLD you that last week!' kind.”

💌. Resource: The Kitchen Sink Offer Party. I mean, I could love this for the “everything but the kitchen sink” reference alone! 😍 But every day through March 7th, Lizzy Goddard is emailing a hidden offer that you can’t normally buy from her. Offers range from $9 to $3,000 - and I’m excited to see what they are. We might find something we can use! 🤞🏾 Click here for details and to sign up for the daily emails.
☕️. Tool: Buy Me a Coffee. If you want to monetize your art/business/passion project, this is the perfect way to go, even if you are just starting. You can set up a page in a few minutes, share your link with folks, and allow them to support you. And I have to plug my page, too, right? It’s here.

The Technium: 68 Bits of Unsolicited Advice
The 1,000 True Fans creator, Kevin Kelly, shared some helpful advice on his 68th birthday. Here are three of my faves:
# 36. Friends are better than money.
# 50. When you get an invitation to do something in the future, ask yourself, ‘Would I accept this if it was scheduled for tomorrow?’ Not too many promises will pass that immediacy filter.
# 68. The universe is conspiring behind your back to make you a success.
