"Hearts are worn in these dark ages..." ~Sarah McLachlan
"...You're not alone in this story's pages."
The last few days, this song by Sarah has been playing on a loop in my head, because it feels like the world is on fire.
March (and possibly April) is effectively cancelled as companies, institutions and schools are hunkering down and closing in the name of social distance. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, whether you are at an extreme anxiety level, or not super worried, your feelings are valid.
I think I'm somewhere in the middle and trying to continue to do what I need to do while managing my anxiety levels which are up and down.
I know that many of you are trying to do the same so I've included a few resources below that I've seen in the past few days which may be helpful to you.
Let me know if there are others and I can include in the next issue. We get through this alone (via social distancing) but also together. 💞
Please take care of yourself and your families. In the meantime, I'm sending you love and air hugs. 🤗
On to the picks!

🧘🏾♀️Down Dog: Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, some people are avoiding the gym. Down Dog is offering all of their apps (including Yoga for Beginners and & Minute Workout) for free until April 1st so that you can practice yoga at home. Tip: Sarah A.
💰Creator Fund: ConvertKit is running a Creator Fund, a $50,000 fund that will cover up to $500 to those who apply for aid to help cover such things as childcare, medical, and grocery expenses.
👭Digital Friendship Tips: My gurl Shenee posted about how she has preserved her digital friendships over the years (including with me!). We've been friends for about 7 years and have only seen each other IRL once. As we move to social distancing there are some great tips on how to keep those friendships strong and perhaps start some new ones.
📚Books: We've read quite a few books together over the years. Here are a few that might be up your alley:
Get a Life, Chloe Brown (cute and funny rom com)
Lock Every Door (we are reading this now, and it's such good suspense!)
Grave Magic Bounty (this one is like fantasy comedy. Love that the main character is 40 and that's a huge part of the story!)
