Thanks everyone for the advice and support around my allergy situation. For now, two Zyrtec a day seems to be keeping the allergies at bay! ππΎ And definitely paying attention to what foods might trigger a reaction so I can share that with the doc when I go back in a couple of months. And also there was a lot of support and interest in adding a #classified section to the newsletter, which is really awesome. I was honestly surprised because I kept thinking, (1) I don't know if I have enough subscribers to sell ads and (2) No one will buy ads and (3) Who do I think I am to even be trying to sell ads?Our inner critic/impostor is a tricky little devil, right? Well thanks to the urging of some friends and you, dear reader, it is HAPPENING. ππΎ You'll start seeing the new section in the next newsletter. And I'm already sold out for the month of the November. π₯³π₯³ Take that, self-doubt!It's amazing how easily we can talk ourselves out of something before we even attempt to do it, because of our inner critic or because we sometimes feel that we are X enough (good enough, big enough, ready enough). But sometimes we need to take action anyways, even if it's a baby step. And in times like these, your squad can help cheer you on and help you become aware that you might be getting in your own way. ππΎββοΈIs there something that you've been wanting to do, try, offer? Is your inner critic/impostor whispering negative nothings in your ear constantly? What I am learning as I go through a training on this, is that our inner critics just want to keep us safe. But sometimes that means keeping us in our comfort zones. And we know growth tends to happen once we step outside it. So if your inner critic is super active right now like mine is for me, take it as a sign that you are on the edge of the greatness. And tell that negative voice, "Hey, thank you, but I got this", take a baby step forward and do the thing. I'm rooting for you! ππΎOn to the picks!P.S. I am wishing you all the self-love and self-care vibes as we head into election week. πP.P.S. If you want to see my tiny contribution to Halloween, click here.
