To say the week has been challenging would be an understatement. I can't even begin to imagine what you are feeling right now. If you're anything like me, it's probably a mix of disappointment, anger and fear. Because the world just fell apart. And we need to grieve in whatever way that makes sense for us. And then we'll get up, dust ourselves off, and get to work. And we do need to get to work because I believe that each of us has the capacity and the ability to make change (and I told a reporter this too!). Now more than ever, we are seeing people's true colors as well as our own values. And this will be a defining moment for many of us. And for a lot of us, this will become a time to be a lot more vocal and a lot more visible because the time for silence is over. I am here and I do this work because I believe that women are amazing and that we have the power to change the world and I want to help you do that. I want to help you use technology as a tool to transcend your circumstances or your physical environment. And I'm hoping that by doing that, I'm helping you and inspiring you and giving you the tools to go after your dreams. And by you doing that, you're inspiring your daughter, your sister, your cousin, your neighbor, and your friend to go after their dreams. And so on... Tears are being shed right now and I want you to know that I support you and I believe in you. We will cry and we will feel and then we will rise up and work together to make things better for each other. Because we are "fighting for what's right," like Hillary said. While thinking through this week's picks, I wanted to send you things that would help you and inspire you. So I really hope that you can find some healing here. And together, we will go forward. "Always forward."On to the picks...P.S. I've found myself listening to this song a lot the past couple of days. xoxo
