For a long time, I thought folks who started a side hustle had to turn it into a full-time business. It wasn’t a matter of if but when. That was the path. And others expect you to take that path.
It wasn’t until years later I realized there was another way. A way to keep your job (which you probably actually enjoy) and start something of your own. An opportunity to have a mix of both worlds.
Full-time entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. And that’s OK.
Leslie Odom Jr. mentioned in his book, Failing Up:
The best mentors will open and read from the private pages of their lives so that you may learn from their mistakes.
I hope the things I’m learning and sharing help you see other ideas and options. For example, you can try juggling multiple things, working full-time (or part-time), and side hustling. You can work 2 hours a week on your business or 20. You can choose to grow slowly or quickly. You can also decide not to be an entrepreneur.
You have options.
There are hundreds of mentors out there with different perspectives, insights, and experiences. Learn what you can, experiment, see what works for you, and leave the rest.
You get to choose - to entrepreneur your way. And I’m here to support you and cheer you on. 🎉

📺. Watching: The White Lotus. I kept hearing talk about an upcoming season finale, and I decided to see what this was all about. It’s a comedy-drama set in this swanky hotel and folks who have come to stay there for the week. And, of course, it starts with a dead body, so a nice mystery surrounds it. Check it out if you are looking for something different to keep your eyes glued to the screen. (I just started season 2, so no spoilers yet, please!)
