Guess what? I am a year older!! Yesterday I celebrated my 36th birthday - it's kind of amazing. I still can't believe it. The year of "Jess being 35" is a blur but so many amazing things have come out of it. I'm starting to be recognized as a woman in tech, a founder, a leader, a speaker. It's been an incredible year. And it's been such a great week leading up to the big 3 6. - I nailed down another big speaking opportunity for this fall. 💪🏾 And I made my debut as the Resident Technista for the ChicagonistaLIVE show!!! I can't tell you how excited this makes me. And scared #becausevideo. But I have to get out of my comfort zone right? #babystepsI plan to take it easy this weekend because my body has been putting me to sleep around 8:00 pm for the past couple of nights so I think it's time to rest. And prepare for the awesomeness that will be my 36th year. What are you celebrating this week? Hit reply and let me know.On to the picks for the week!P.S. I saw Shakespeare in Love last night - the play about the movie. So good. If you're in Chicago, definitely check it out. It's really a good time. I love having a little Shakespeare in my life in April especially since it's also #PoetryMonth.P.P.S. Thank you for being a part of my tribe. xoxo
