This week has been tough. Charlottesville. Barcelona. You go on Facebook and you can feel the sadness, the anger, the disgust. It's an emotional time and people are choosing how to deal with it. Some are standing up. Some are staying silent. Some don't even want to get out of bed. Some are getting away for their own mental health and self-care. You can choose too. You can choose to stand up or be silent. You can write articles. You can speak to large groups. You can keep doing the work that you love. You can choose what's best for you. ❤️My friend Shenee posted, "Living your life is its own form of activism." And that truly spoke to my heart and soul. So I get out of bed. And I hug my friends and loved ones. And I keep living my life. Because I have an incredible job where I'm able to help remove obstacles and create opportunities for women entrepreneurs every day. Even this week. And I have this amazing side hustle where I can create resources and share knowledge that can help others start their own side hustles. I'm hoping that I inspire others and help others so that they can then inspire and help others. So I hold onto those things and keep putting one foot in front of the other. I've been hard at work in my #sidehustlelife this week working on a new offering for the new focus. I'm super proud of this and excited to launch it. It's a free 15-minute session (pow wow) to help you with your side hustle. We could chat about finding time for your side hustle or using tech tools or even dealing with your day job. Think of it as your opportunity to pick my side hustler brain. Sign up here. And keep going. Keep writing. Keep speaking. Keep working. Keep showing up. Keep doing the things that feel right for you. We are in this for the long haul and we are in this together. On to the picks for the week!P.S. You can change the world. xoP.P.S. Shoutout to Teddi for helping me find a great quote for this week's newsletter.
