If I'm being totally honest, I'm having a weird week. My friend posed this question earlier on Twitter and it has been sitting with me ever since. Also my grandmother hasn't been doing that well this week so that definitely affects me too. #caregiverlifeLife would probably be easier without trying to build a business but I'm not sure if that's how I really feel or if that's the tiredness talking. Burnout is real, my friends. I've been thinking about the things that I'm good at (and that I enjoy thanks to a conversation with my gurl Shenee) and the two things that immediately come to mind are connecting and curating. Like doing this newsletter every week sparks joy. Building relationships with other amazing people. Joy. Connecting them to other amazing people and resources. Joy. Helping people get unstuck and move forward. Joy. This side hustle road is not easy. After all, most of us are choosing to go home and work some more after already working for 8 hours. But I know that we do it because there is a purpose driving us. That's often bigger than just making some extra money. I think for me, it's time to revisit why I started doing this in the first place and then figure out how to move forward from here. I will keep you posted. ❤️On to the picks!
