It's mid-October already. What the what. I have a feeling the next 2.5 months will fly by. Especially after Halloween, time seems to accelerate. On one hand, I'm thinking about how I can finish the year strong. On the other hand, I'm thinking of how to rest more over the next couple of months. Reality will most likely end up somewhere in the middle.Thank you so much to those of you who answered my survey. Reading your feedback has totally given me an extra spring in my step this week. I've been struggling to see/know/understand if #jesspicks provides value. And you have made it clear to me that it does. Which is such a wonderful feeling. If you didn't get a chance to submit your thoughts yet, there is still time. The survey is here. (sidenote: I loved the survey tool so much that I bought a lifetime subscription, because why not?) In other news, I'm trying yoga. π§πΎββοΈ I can still count the number of times I've done yoga on one hand. But I think it might be something good to try, especially with my ankle recovery. So far, I shake ALOT. Downward dog is the hardest thing for me and I get a rush to my head each time I do it. Is that normal? π€£But it's good to get some movement in. I'm starting with 5 minute practices using Down Dog and it's my "end of the work day activity" which seems to be working well. My favorite part so far? Hugging my knees to my chest - there is something about that movement that is just awesome. Not sure if I'll stick with it, but it's worth a try. I do like the reminders to breathe too as I often hold my breath when doing exercises (and probably lots of other things). What is your end of the work day activity? How do you "commute" from work to home?On to the picks!P.S. This made my week and I think is the universe's way of saying #jesspicks is the future. ππΎ
