I am feeling a little better this week. A few things that have helped:π± Texting with my Talkspace therapist about all the things.π΄ Resting when I need to. Naps are seriously under-rated.π Starting the day with morning pages. I'm doing this on 750words.com right after making my coffee thanks to this article.π Exercising. Even if it's only 7 minutes. It's good for PT-ing my ankle but also for my mental health.βπΎ Getting off the computer by 7pm at night.(sidenote: there are a lot of 7s in that section π)Overall I feel less overwhelmed by everything than I have in some time. And that's such a welcome feeling that I intend to just enjoy it. In other news, my friend Christine posed an interesting question on LinkedIn:"What can you do today that β come January β youβll thank yourself for?"Coincidentally enough, for the past couple of weeks, I have been thinking about how I want to finish out the year. This newsletter has been such an amazing part of my life over the past four years and I want to continue growing it and improving it. Ultimately I want to make it the primary focus of my side hustle. That feels like the right move for me.On that note, I could use your help as I'm looking towards the future:Can you take 30 seconds and answer this 2.5 question survey? It'll go a long way in helping me think through what's next for #jesspicks, which my January self will thank me for. πWhat can YOU do for your January self?On to the picks!P.S. If you're curious, I found the survey tool (Curious Karen) in the Startup Resources newsletter. Super easy and fun to create.
