This week I celebrated my one-year anniversary at my job. It's amazing how my scary leap into the unknown has totally paid off.  I've learned so much and been exposed to so many opportunities in this past year.  It's been an adventure that has involved getting out of my comfort zone and being a beginner again. But I wouldn't trade one bit of it. Because it has made me grow in ways that I couldn't have imagined.  I can't wait to see what happens next!  To add to the awesomeness for this week, I was included in an article on Entrepreneur.com as one of four role models for girls in tech.  I had tears in my eyes when I saw it because it's like "OMG, that's meeeee". (and yep I totally did a double take when I saw it)  I'm a role model. Me.  Eeek!!  I am so humbled and honored to be included on the list with 3 other amazing women, including Chicago's very own CIO, Brenna Berman.  I feel that the more women in tech are seen, we can inspire young girls and other women to see the possibilities and career (and business) opportunities that technology provides.I'm smiling just writing these words because it's been a good week. The themes of technology and business and women seem to be at the center of my life no matter what I do.
