Shout out to Luciano Vizza for buying me coffee this past week! ☕️Luciano is the creator of the Salt Sear Savor newsletter. He shares cooking tips and lessons to help grow your confidence in the kitchen! 👩🏾🍳---Last week, I did my first Facebook Live. Dr. Barbara Provost (hi Barb!) invited me to talk to her awesome Purse Strings for Financially Fearless Women community about starting a side hustle. And guess what? I didn't die. 💪🏾 Live video (and really video in general) is a bit of a scary place for me. I doubt that will change anytime soon, but like most things, we do it because there is a larger purpose to our work, even if we have to do it scared. Because people need to know what's possible. Because I want others to know that there are many ways to be an entrepreneur - even if you have a day job.Barb and team put together a great one-page recap of my talk if you want to check it out. It was a great time, and we had a wonderful conversation about all things side hustle.I've been using January as a "look back on 2020" month of sorts. To close things out, I wanted to highlight favorites: both mine and a few of yours. I took all of the recommendations that have been mentioned in the #loves section of the newsletter in 2020 and put them all in one post:#jesspicks #loves 2020There's a lot in there!
