Happy October!I was listening to a Daily Shine earlier this week and they talked about how we all have this "surge capacity", these mental and physical systems that we can use for "short-term survival in acutely stressful situations".And how we've been through so much this year that our surge capacity is depleted. I felt that in my soul. π΄ We have collectively been through a lot this year. And we're not done yet. So our body and soul just gets tired sometimes. We ended the meditation with the words: "I accept my energy as it changes."I think that is a great affirmation to take into the rest of this year. I felt it quite literally as I have been sick most of the week.
