Shout out to Constance for buying me coffee this past week! ☕️ Thank you!--I read this in the Be More with Less newsletter this week, and it was so helpful for me to remember this week that I wanted to share it with you. When your plate is full, you have three choices.OneWorry about everything on your plate, and complain about how crazy-busy you are. Keep piling on more and more until you burn-out, break-down or somehow finally get through it all and then burn-out and break-down.TwoRemove something from your plate to make room for something that matters more.ThreeRecognize your plate is full and say no to everything else so you can enjoy and engage in what is right in front of you.Number one seems to be the way of the world, and it was my default choice until I remembered I had a choice. You have a choice too. This week, I found myself stepping away from work when I needed to, asking for an extension on tasks, and being upfront about what I could do. And you know what? People understood, moved timelines, and accepted my limits.Whatever season you find yourself in right now, I hope you can understand and honor your capacity.Because you have a choice. On to the picks!
