This week has been a bit of an emotional up and down. Some days I can get into a great groove with work and other days, my brain feels like it's just cotton balls. I'm glad I have friends to remind me that hey, we are going through a pandemic. And then I realize that I'm putting all kinds of stress on myself. Grace. It is so important to have grace with ourselves and each other right now. And if you are feeling undue pressure for whatever reason, it might be time for a grace break. ๐A few good things that happened this week:I wrapped up my #30DaysofSideHustle tips on Instagram! I am proud of myself for doing it and sticking with it. Now I'm thinking of my next project! I want to see how I can repurpose some of that content for other things.๐คHad my first side hustle office hours session! I worked with this amazing woman who is building an event planning business as a side hustle. She walked away with her next steps and feeling less overwhelmed. I call that a win! And I really am liking this style of working too so that is awesome. I still have 2 spots left before Friday so if you want to pick my brain, definitely sign up!I am testing out one of my gurl Mel's Business Builder Bundles on Speaking. It helps you create a 5-10 minute signature talk and gives tips and resources on how to find speaking gigs. The first exercise is focused on working on your message so that's been fun to start to put together. More on that soon!In other not as good news, I have been having some finger and hand pain which is probably my body's way of saying, "Stop working from your bed", ๐ so I ordered a desk which should arrive in a couple weeks. Especially since we'll be continuing to shelter in place for at least the next month, I may as well try to adult a little and make myself some sort of workspace.I'm excited that it's a new month and there are some good things coming. Looking forward to this workshop and this one that I'm teaching. ๐๐พWhat's a good thing that happened to you this week? Or what is something you are looking forward to doing this month? On to the picks!P.S. My brother Mac sent me this to brighten my day and you might like it too!
