This was my first full week of physical therapy sans boot. In a word: exhausting. π° I'm so happy that I'm making progress but I was really reminded this week that I'm recovering from an injury (in addition to dealing with *gestures wildly* all this) and that is a big deal. Walking on two feet is bringing its own new challenges. I have to be careful to not just get up and walk like I did pre-injury. And I'm learning that ice packs are my friend. π₯Ά It's a dance like anything else but the reminder to have patience with yourself, listen to your body, and take a nap when you need to, is never a bad thing. Along with that, my first week of #SelfishSemiSabbatical went well. I finished this book and started this one. I am planning to watch the next episodes of Killer Party Musical tonight (highly recommend). And said no (!!) to a $500 event that someone was offering me a free ticket to. I can get used to this! ππΎ. We launched the Gather the People class this week and it is going well so far! Spent some time reviewing the materials and answering the prompts which has been good for me. Some things I'm realizing:My strengths include being a connector and a curatorMy limits include feeling like an impostor (quite often!)I want financial freedom + to serve as an example of what's possibleI need to heal from my ankle injury and need a lot of flexibility because of everything on my plate including caregivingIt is nice to take a step back and really think through some of this stuff. If this would be helpful to you too, you can grab the lessons and prompts so far on Instagram. It's gentle so you can work at your own pace and get support along the way through 8/19. This process already has me thinking about my website (it's time for a little refresh), content buckets, and offerings. This video especially. On that note, I could use your help. Have you had a win because of anything I've sent you? If so, hit reply and tell me about it. I'd really love to hear it as I think about what's next. On to the picks!
